Attention YLES participants

In view of realistic business ideas, after additional consideration, Judges have further decided to set the cutoff rate at 70%. Hence: The Team Euphoria, Amanah and Rooftop Garden qualify for the second round.

 The above teams have secured 11th, 12th and 13th position respectively. They have been given consideration on the basis of the business idea presented. However, they require further research to refine their ideas.

Please note that the top 10 qualifying teams would be required to present their business idea to our panel of judges on soon to be announced date. While, team 11, 12 and 13 would be required to present a refined, well researched write up on their business idea along with the presentation to the panel of judges.

The lineup of the “positions” here is based on the BUSINESS PLANS only. Please know that you will essentially be judged on your presentation skills and every related aspect as the judges will question you as you present on your business plan and other related questions that are a part of the YLES (knowledge on the corporate world etc.)

Winners of YLES ’10 First Round

So much for the delay and suspense, but here they are. IBA Entrepreneurship Society congratulates the following teams who have made it through the first round of YLES’10:

The detailed grades on all the entries will be put up soon. These ten teams will be required to present their business ideas in detail in front of the three judges on a soon-to-be announced date. The top scoring teams in the presentations, will then represent IBA in Lahore this January.

Results for the Business Plan Competition for YLES on Tuesday

Attention YLES participants! Due to the overwhelming response, our judges need more time to make this difficult decision. Hold on tight, results will be out tomorrow! Good Luck!! 🙂

Results for YLES ’10 First Round

The results for the first round of the YLES ’10 will be announced in IBA on Monday. The judges are currently reviewing the submitted business plans under a rigorous criteria, and will select ten teams in the first round.

These ten teams will have to present their business plans to the judges more comprehensively and must be prepared to answer their queries. The final number of official teams to be sent from IBA will then be determined after all ten presentations have been judged and graded.

Shell-Tameer Workshop for 27th October, 2009 has been cancelled!

We regret to inform all the participants who had signed up for the first in the Shell-Tameer Workshop series in IBA on entrepreneurship and small business development.

Due to the current volatile security situation in the country, the trainers from abroad had to leave in an emergency.

But don’t worry, we will be having many more events like these soon!
